YOU'LL HAVE MORE REASONS TO LOVE MANILA MARRIOTT THIS MONTH

K-pop fans and foodies!!! You know that you can’t miss out the biggest culinary fete at Marriott Café buffet for this year. 

I was among the first ones who were able to experience and have a taste of their superb Korean dishes during the launch of their Korean Food Festival, that will run until July 31, 2017. This oppa-tizing month-long treat of their Korean Food Festival is in partnership with the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines where they flew in a team of 4 chefs from one of the largest and famous resorts in Seoul, Elysian Gangchon. 

During the launch, Korean cuisine were spreaded at their buffet and there really are so much to love!   We also had a tour of their kitchen with a cooking demo from the guest chefs. There was also a showcase of an interactive photobooth where guests can wear Hanbok and an entertaining cultural sword dance called Geommu.

We have been able to have the first dibs with their appetite-filling entrees like bibimbap, bulgogi, samgyeopsal, and Korean barbecue. The Rare Korean dishes made it even harder for us to choose so we indulge and tried everything — no other words, it was sooooo good. 

We also spotted healthy finds such as namul (seasoned vegetable dish), sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew), kimchi stew, and mandu (dumplings). 

You need not miss this because the special buffet experience is only Php 1,900 for lunch on Mondays to Saturdays and Php 2,100 for dinner on Sundays to Thursdays and will be available for the rest of the month of July at Marriott Cafe!

Oh, if you want to discover swift Korean meals-to-go and even elaborate ones to impress on your next party, there will be a cooking class facilitated by their Korean guest chefs where you could join which will be held at Marriott’s The Hub. For a minimal fee of only Php 1,250, the class is already inclusive of a sumptuous lunch, chefs gear, equipment and ingredients.You can also choose either July 18 (Tuesday) or 19 (Wednesday), from 10am to 2:30pm.

Don't think about it, call them now and pick your schedule so you can learn how to enjoy Korean food at home!
