Accessorising has been universally accepted by women around the globe since the start of the decade. That's why wearing accessories is already a staple to any outfit. Casual, semi-formal, cocktails or formal wear – just name it!
Not so many of you know that I love doing crafts. It used to be my "super" hobby since I really love creating designs.
Some years back, there are quite a number of accessories that are just available online and ships only in the US so I usually find myself hopeless since I cannot purchase not atleast one due to the limited shipping availability. So one day, I just had that brilliant idea of designing one for myself. I liked it so I created another design until I started getting praises from my colleagues about how beautiful and unique my pieces of accessories are.
Those praises inspired me to keep on creating designs until I found myself accepting made to order pieces from my colleagues. Orders keep on coming until I cannot count it on my fingers. The demand resulted me to get an assistant already. From that moment, I told myself that it was a sign. Slowly and with baby steps, I started to get a little display space where I could exhibit my designs. That was also the time when I decided to upload my designs at the now defunct selling site —multiply.com to target a wider market. And that guys was the brief history on how I started my small startup retail business.
From my self designed accessories, we expanded our products and added up some non-branded local bags. Few years later, we added up local v-neck t-shirts and statement t-shirts. With the growth in popularity of statement t-shirts businesses, you cannot deny the fact that there will always be that stiff competition. That's why you gotta have to break through. You'll need to have a unique brand that has designs that people love and of course quality materials and that particular branding that will make you stand out. Always remember, a product without a label is like a person without an identity. So you have to put a particular emphasis on how you market your brand.
Setting Up An Online Store Is Easy...But It’s Also Really Hard Work. To be successful with your brand, you have to have and make the right decisions from the get-go.
People would always remember and buy from you if they know that you have a quality product. You're thinking of putting up an online business too? Do take a deeper look with the keys to success and you'll see, little by little, you will be able to see your brand stand out from the competition.
