Akala ko ang dami ko ng alam when it comes to skin care. Akala ko lang pala yun. Last thursday, I attended an event which was hosted by Oilatum where I learned a lot about skin health and how we can further protect our skin from dryness and skin of the kids too.

During the event, we learned about the importance of of skincare for kids and its effects on children through the guest dermatologist and psychiatrist. Dr. Wilsie-Walinsundin, a pediatric dermatologist was invited by Oilatum to discuss the common pediatric skin conditions and what could be done to avoid and treat them. Dr. Antonio Sision, on the other hand, shared his expertise on the psychiatric effects of skin problems on children and maternal mental health.

Games and fun activities for us and our little ones were held in between the discussions which made the summit more enjoyable. Hoping for the next session...
