Uniqlo's UT Archive Project: A re-launch of collections from its releases over the past two decades



To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the UT brand, which made its debut in 2003, UNIQLO announced that it will launch the UT Archive Project. A variety of genuine pop culture and art designs from across the world are available under the UNIQLO graphic T-shirt (UT) brand, allowing the wearer to express their personality. In appreciation of their enduring appeal, the project will re-launch a selection of UTs from its releases during the previous two decades. The public may also access UNIQLO's online UT Archive on the same day, allowing them to fully explore the history of the company.

The 18 designs chosen from the UT archives for the collection demonstrate the strong roots of this LifeWear in art, music, cinema, animation, and other facets of worldwide pop culture. Among the designs are a 2003 UT featuring graphic work by Jean-Michel Basquiat and one with artwork by Andy Warhol, whose creations have appeared frequently in the UT range throughout the years. Additionally, a 2009 UT honoring the very popular Street Fighter video game franchise and a 2006 Black Jack UT featuring Osamu Tezuka's artwork are both available.

Collection Overview

The UT Archive Site will take consumers on a journey to encounter new aspects of culture and find and their favorite items. This digital library represents UNIQLO’s commitment to adding color to daily living through the medium of the T-shirt. It will contain numerous masterpieces from over the years, covering art, characters, and corporate and brand collaborations from across the globe.





The ADULTS T-shirt designs are priced at Php 790 and are available in UNIQLO Philippines stores nationwide and on UNIQLO.com/ph
